Q3/2024 Wrap-Up: A Wolfpack Digital Summer

We wrapped up another exciting quarter at Wolfpack Digital, so it’s time to look back at everything we’ve achieved this summer. 🐺

As a tech company, we develop web apps and mobile apps and stay committed to bringing performance and beauty to the world through technology. 

What keeps us close, as an actual Pack, is also celebrating our team, our achievements, and all the events that brought us together. 🤝

Without further ado, let’s see what we did during Q3 of 2024. 🙌

The Pack in Action 🌍

Q3 was not just about work—it was also about team building, learning, and having a good time together as a pack. We had some lovely events that helped us connect, bond, and enjoy ourselves outside working hours while learning new things.

• In July, we enjoyed the Howlympics Summer Picnic. In a cozy garden, we played sports, chilled, and enjoyed some good food and beverages. 🥖🍹

• In August, we celebrated our web developers, who got together to connect and share knowledge on the occasion of Web Developers’ Day at Wolfpack Digital. 🕸️🎊

• In September, we had a “Back to School” day at the office, and we put our minds to work to identify our colleagues by what their desks look like. 🖥️

Community Engagement 💖

Giving back is in our DNA, and it’s truly important for us to make a difference beyond the digital world. Our commitment to social responsibility drives us to support various community initiatives. This quarter, we continued to support the community and events that bring value:

• Friendly.rb conference in Bucharest 💎 - we joined the second edition of this conference as participants and also as partners. Victor, our Head of Web Development, gave a presentation on Accessibility in web platforms as part of the event. As we have one of the largest Ruby communities in Transilvania at Wolfpack Digital, we were so happy to see the community growing and gathering together to learn from each other. We wrote an article about the conference and our experience, so make sure to check it out.

• We partnered with WWF Romania and adopted a few wolves by donating, and many colleagues have joined the initiative and adopted some wolves themselves. 🐺

• dpIT (Descoperă-ți Pasiunea în IT) program -  Over the summer, we hosted a group of enthusiastic high-school students who developed an app that tracks your carbon footprint and gives you eco-tips for a more sustainable and greener future. 🌿 The app is called Orbis, and you can discover more about it and the team here. From Wolfpack Digital, Victor, Head of Web Development, and Cristian, Head of UX/UI Design, were mentors to the team.

• The Sanctuary x Inner Talks at UNTOLD - Gina was invited as a speaker to the “Fostering Connection and Support in the Age of Technology” talk.

• Romanian IT Entrepreneurship meeting at ABC Incubator - Gina, our Co-CEO, participated in an event where she met the Prime Minister of Romania and the Romanian Minister of Digitalization.
• Gina was selected as a jury member in IADAS (International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences) for the Webby Awards.

Howling Success 🏆

Our work and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed! In the past quarter, we received some valuable tokens of industry recognition, further motivating us to push boundaries and create even better digital solutions:

We were named as one of the Top 50 Most Desired Employers in Cluj in a survey by Hipo.ro with over 900 participants from Cluj-Napoca.

We received the Most Innovative Web & Mobile App Development Firm 2024 in Romania by Corporate Excellence Awards.

Last but not least, Gina was a finalist for the “Ecosystem Hero of the Year“ title at the Global Startup Awards. She & Adi, our co-CEO, attended the beautiful gala organized in Istanbul in September. Even though she didn’t take home the award this time, Gina is grateful for the recognition and the journey.
