Q4/2024 Wrap-Up: Wolfpack Digital Apps and Celebrations

As 2024 has already said goodbye to us, it's time to celebrate another quarter packed with achievements, milestones, and memories.

The last months of 2024 were filled with celebration moments and opportunities to be more involved in the community, and we couldn't be happier to share the highlights. 🤩

Year in Review

As we reflect on the past year, we’re happy about our progress in the web and mobile app development world. 🌎

Our team has worked to deliver high-quality solutions for our partners, and we’re grateful for their trust in us. We were also involved in many community events and initiatives, and these efforts have strengthened our community ties and reinforced our dedication to bringing performance and beauty to the world through technology. As we look to the future, we’re excited about all the new challenges awaiting us in the world of tech and not only.

The end of the year is usually a busy period for everyone, and we were no exception. We worked on transforming our partners' ideas to life and into stunning digital products, and here are the web & mobile app development projects we published on our website during the last quarter:

Whether placing an order or tracking loyalty points, Corrib Oil's solution offers a streamlined and efficient experience.

MyStandard
Job seekers and recruiters both crave efficient, transparent connections. MyStandard improves this process by giving candidates full ownership of their professional data and rewarding them in cryptocurrency while empowering recruiters to find and connect with the right talent easily. This dual-sided platform revolutionizes the recruitment process, making it secure, fair, and efficient for everyone involved.

Get-e
Get-e is revolutionizing global transportation management with seamless airport transfers and tailored rides for clients worldwide. As part of this mission, we helped craft the Get-e Driver App. This powerful, intuitive tool gives drivers real-time updates and communication capabilities, ensuring efficient, secure, and punctual journeys every time.

Siguu
Siguu is an Insurtech aggregator for insurance products. Its mission is to make things much easier for SMEs to identify, compare, and buy the best-suited insurance products for their needs.

Choosy
Choosy is a web platform designed to help the construction and remodeling industry by streamlining project management and enhancing collaboration between homeowners, contractors, designers, and architects.

Wolfpack Digital Events and Celebrations 🎉

Q4 was also about bonding, laughter, and a dash of holiday magic. Here's a glimpse of the pack's celebrations. 🤩

We started the quarter with a Wellness Workshop 🌱, and it was the perfect time to learn more about how our bodies are structured and function and how we can spend more time taking care of ourselves and be more mindful of them. 🧘

At the end of October, we celebrated Halloween and had our traditional Spooky Standup. 👻🎃 We dressed in funny or scary outfits and had a joyful day together at our office.

In November, we celebrated the men in our pack on the occasion of Men's Day. They started the day with a fun and engaging treasure hunt in our office where they had to find useful and funny gifts suited for men: tools 🛠️, cleaning solutions for cars 🏎️, hair, beard, and skin products 💆, beverages 🍷, and many more.

After work hours, they had a special night with fun activities such as beer-pong, poker, video games, darts, and, of course, food 🍕 and drinks. 🥂 Cheers again to the Wolfpack men! 🍾

December came with a festive vibe ✨, so it was mandatory to mull some wine 🍷 and start decorating our Christmas tree and the office. 🎄
During the day, we stayed in our office wearing cozy slippers and quirky sweaters, as we also had our traditional Ugly Xmas Sweater Day contest. 🧶

We ended the month with the Wolfpack Digital X Anniversary & Christmas Party, which took us to the beautiful and historical Bethlen Castle. We celebrated a decade of Wolfpack Digital along with Christmas. We started the night with a guided tour of the castle, enjoyed a good meal, and reflected on the last 10 years. Afterward, we played our traditional dice game with gifts and exchanged l Christmas and anniversary gifts. 🎁.

Giving Back to the Community 💞

We are always happy to support our community and ecosystem through different methods. In Q4 of 2024, we were happy to be part of:

• 🤝 GuideDays by Hermes:  We sponsored their event, supporting innovation and mentorship in our local community.
• 👵🏻 Din Suflet pentru Apuseni: We sponsored their activity, and part of our team also volunteered to help the elderly in the Apuseni region.

• 🏆 "Descopera-ti Pasiunea in IT" academy: Over the summer, Cristi Virciu, Head of UX/UI Design, and Victor Motogna, Head of Web Development, mentored a team of high-school students called Orbis, on their mission to develop an eco-friendly app, with the same name. Orbis won first place among the other 19 participant teams, and we wrote an entire article about the experience. You can check it here.

• 🎙️ Gina was a speaker at ICF CoachFest & InfoTech's event "How to Start a Startup", where she shared entrepreneurial insights to inspire and educate future leaders.
• 🙌 Product Weekend: We hosted the first Product Weekend in Romania.

• Women in Tech Cluj meetup: We hosted at our Wolfpack Digital Events Space one the WiT's meetups, "Startups F(o)unded by Women", which was facilitated by Gina Lupu Florian.

• 📣 IT Days: We joined IT Days 2024 as Silver Partners and developed the official IT Days mobile app. 📱 Victor Motogna, Head of Web Development, and Gina Lupu Florian, founder and co-CEO, both spoke on the stage. Gina participated in the Business panel, and Victor gave a talk called "Networking Paradigms in Counter Strike's Subtick System."

• 🏃🏻 Crosul de Noapte: A few of the wolves participated in the event.

• 🎤 Gina Lupu Florian was a speaker at Tiberiu Popoviciu High School for high-school students.
• 👩🏻‍⚖️ Gina was a Juror at FIX, a community-driven incubation program designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, resources, and networks necessary to navigate the start-up journey.
• 🎬 Adrian Florian, our co-CEO, had an interview for Start-up.ro.
• 🎁 Charity Initiative: Are You the Super Santa? Part of the pack joined a beautiful initiative to buy and prepare presents for the less fortunate kids.
