Our journey started in early 2015, when our founder, Gina, decided to start Wolfpack Digital in Cluj after returning from London, UK, where she had studied and worked as a Lead iOS Developer. The company’s name stems from her surname, Lupu, which means “Wolf”.

The company’s set mission back then was to work with inspiring and daring entrepreneurs while bringing innovative ideas to life as successful web and mobile products. Our other ambition was to create an amazing work environment and bring together exceptional and talented local professionals.
This was the continuation of our founder’s multidisciplinary direction, which made her encounter in her path, besides tech and engineering, fields such as business and project management, organizational psychology, and PR.

the beginning
Our very first client was a UK-based startup for whom we built a start-to-end web and mobile recruitment platform. That set the tone for the upcoming years when we became full-service development partners for most of our clients.
For the first 2-3 years, we had a small, yet fun and smart team of devs and designers, and that internal fire of our closely-knit group is what forged the beautiful brand that Wolfpack Digital is today.

In 2018 Adrian, our CTO, joined the company as Chief Technical Officer and co-owner, after having worked as a full-stack developer and Product Lead for one of the fastest-growing startups in the auto industry in Europe, which gave us an extra boost to focus on our growth.
This also made Wolfpack Digital what one may call a family business since Adrian and Gina are married.

The pack almost doubled in size each year since the beginning and we are now 80+ wolves altogether. We are currently at our 4th office - a gorgeous and spacious house in central Cluj.
We have partners all round the world, from Europe to the US, Australia, UAE and many more amazing places. They range from startups to powerful brands, building both B2B and B2C apps.
Our skilled team and strong partners have helped us become one of the top European Development Agencies. In 2021 we won the European Technology Awards for App development.
